  • Cut your supermarket roast chicken into pieces with a pair of kitchen scissors and arrange on a serving plate.
  • Place half the oil in a small saucepan over medium heat and fry the fennel seeds until fragrant. Add the remaining oil, then add the paprika, chilli and olives. Heat for about 2 minutes, then stir through the basil leaves and pour the oil over the chicken. Serve with crusty bread.
